Delaware Park Casino & Racing Donates $6,000 to Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition
Includes Donated Monies from Guests and a Large Cash Contribution from Casino
Wilmington, DE, December 12, 2022 – Delaware Park Casino & Racing presented the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition with a check in the amount of $6,000 today. In the past few months, Meals on Wheels Delaware, Boys & Girls Club of Delaware, Nemours Fund for Children’s Health and Habitat for Humanity New Castle County all received donations from Delaware Park totaling over $25,000. Ron Baumann, President and General Manager of Delaware Park Casino & Racing said, “Guest participation in the slot voucher donation program has exceeded our expectations. We are thrilled to add monies to the total collected for the fight against cancer. The ultimate goal is for every diagnosed person to be a survivor.”
The Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition raises awareness of breast health issues through outreach, education, and support services, in order to facilitate the early detection and treatment of breast cancer.
Team Delaware Park is committed to many future civic projects including volunteering at the Food Bank of Delaware, a Toys for Tots collection program and donating money to various local organizations.
