Wilmington, Del., June 13, 2026 — Resolute Racing’s Dona Clota won the $250,000 Grade III Robert G. Dick Memorial at Delaware Park today.
Ridden by Irad Ortiz Jr., the 5-year-old daughter by Ivan Denisovich won by a neck and returned $5.20 as the favorite in the field of six. The Chile-bred covered the mile and three-eighths over a firm turf course in 2:16.77.
Alluring Angel, with Junior Alvarado, finished second a head in front of Storm Miami who was disqualified and placed fourth for interfering with Bellezza, with Jaime Rodriguez, who was placed third.
“The trip was beautiful,”said winning jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. “The main thing was trying to get her to relax. She had been keen the last couple of times. Today she was relaxed every step of the way. I just bided my time, found a hole at the quarter pole and she got it done.”
