Wilmington, Del., September 11, 2026 — Charles Blanford and Theresa Haupt’s Beautiful Blome scored her fifth career victory at Delaware Park in the Delaware bred or certified $75,000 Ogletown Handicap at Delaware Park today.
With Paco Lopez aboard, the 4-year-old daughter of Blofeld, won by 3/4-lengths and returned $5.80 as the second choice in the field of five. The Maryland-bred conditioned by Anthony Pecoraro covered the mile and seventy yards in 1:43.82 over a fast-main track. Intrepid Mo, with Yedsit Hazlewood, finished second. It was another 2 3/4-lengths farther back to the even money favorite Pink Ruby, with Martin Chuan, in third.
Beautiful Blome raised her career record to seven wins from 19 starts with earnings of $329,710. Her Delaware Park record is five wins and four thirds from 11 starts.
“This is a nice filly,” said winning trainer Anthony Pecoraro. “She is nice to be around and she is always honest. She always tries and she always gives a 100%. This is a great victory for her.”
