Wilmington, Del., June 27, 2026 — Trott Racing Stable’s Miss Fulton Gal notched her second career stake victory in the $150,000 Christiana Stakes at Delaware Park today. The race was originally scheduled to be run on the turf but was transferred to the main track due to a steady rain which started at the beginning of the race card and continued through the early afternoon.
With Raul Mena aboard, the 3-year-old daughter of Rock Your World won by 2 1/4-lengths and returned $17.20 as the third choice in the field of five. The 3-to-5 favorite Soloist, with Christopher Elliott, finished second. It was another 7-lengths farther back to Making Daisys, with Carol Cedeno, in third.
Miss Fulton Gal covered the mile and an eighth in 1:54.10 over a sloppy track.
The Kentucky-bred conditioned by locally based trainer Michael Gorham raised her career mark to four wins from 11 starts with earnings of $258,450.
“We know she likes the dirt and if the race was going to come off, it would favor us,” said winning trainer Michael Gorham. “She is a nice filly and she does everything right. She is perfect to be around. She has run in some really nice races against some tough 3-year-old fillies, and she brings her best effort every time. Hopefully, she can keep progressing and who knows where she will take us?”
