Wilmington, Del., June 13, 2026 — Juddmonte’s Chasten won the $150,000 Obeah Stakes at Delaware Park today.
With Irad Ortiz, Jr, aboard, the Kentucky-bred trained by Brad Cox posted a 6 ¼ -length score and returned $3.00 as the favorite in the field of seven. Amalfi Drive, with Luis Saez, finished second and it was another 9 ¾ -lengths farther back to Beautiful Blome, with Carol Cedeno, in third. The final time for a mile and a sixteenth was 1:43.83 over a fast main track.
Chasten raised her career record to four wins from eight starts with earnings of $313,684.
“I let her do her thing and she took care of business,” said winning rider Irad Ortiz Jr. “She is nice filly and she ran like it today.”
