Donation presentations to PDJF & Mid-Atlantic Horse Rescue & Canter DE  

Wilmington, Del., September 9, 2026 — The best of the best in Delaware racing will be showcased with the 34th Owners Day at Delaware Park this Saturday. Ten races with 109 entries have been scheduled.

The people who made lifelong contributions which have made Delaware racing exceptional will be celebrated with the 31st running of the George Rosenberger Memorial, the 22nd renewal of the Robert W. Camac Memorial, the fifth running the Rich Glazier Turf Classic and the 29th renewal of the DTHA Governors Day Race.

Delaware Park will also pay tribute to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF) and Mid-Atlantic Horse Rescue (MAHR) and Canter Delaware on Saturday.

After the running of the sixth race a donation check worth $20,000 will be presented in the winner’s circle to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF) from Delaware Park Casino, the Delaware Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (DTHA), the Delaware Jockeys Health and Welfare Benefit Fund and the Delaware Park Jockeys Association.  For more information on the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund (PDJF) or to donate, visit www.pdjf.org.
