Wilmington, Del., September 11, 2026 — Cathy Denselbeck and Kelly Lynn Dieter’s Irish Jig posted the upset victory in the restricted to Delaware bred or certified $125,000 Tax Free Shopping Distaff at Delaware Park today.

With Vincent Cheminaud aboard, the 3-year-old daughter of Irish War Cry, won by 2 1/4-lengths and returned $11.80 as the longest shot in the of five.  The Maryland-bred conditioned by Kelly Lynn Dieter covered the six furlongs in 1:11.61 over a fast-main track. Onyx Ten, with Emanuel Rosaario, finished second.  It was another 2 1/2-lengths farther back to Pure Lure, with Andy Hernandez, in third.  The 9-to-5 favorite, Dwelling Legacy with Yedsit Hazlewood, finished fourth.

Irish Jig was certified at HS Villa Gomez Farm in Clayton, Delaware.

“We are not sure about her next race yet,” said winning trainer Kelly Lynn Dieter.  “We are going to make sure she is good after this race and we will decide.  She was awesome today.”
